Jacob Stillman

Jacob graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with a B.A. in Biology. After graduation, Jacob received his Master's in Molecular and Cellular Biosciences from Imperial College London before returning to Penn to work as a research specialist. As an undergraduate and research specialist, Jacob worked in Dr. Jim Shorter's laboratory where he focused on countering the aggregation of neurodegenerative disease-associated proteins using the molecular chaperone HSP104. Jacob joined the lab in 2021 with an interest in microglial proteostasis and neurodegenerative disease.
